Our Team
Trois Noix began as a collaboration with amazingly talented friends who happened to be fabulous winemakers and grape growers, with the goal of making fresh and precise wines of time and place. Standing on that foundation today, we are a bridge between “Established Napa” and “Next Napa,” holding onto that sense of place while inviting as many people as we can to revel with us in our shared love of wine.
Jaime Araujo, Vintner and founder
Jaime’s family has been making world-class wines in Napa Valley for over 25 years and for most of those years, Jaime was actually living abroad in Europe (if you want to know all the juicy details, make sure to ask her when you meet!)
Upon returning to Napa Valley to become a vintner, Jaime wanted to create a wine that would reflect her personal journey, and what she loved most about wine: the people and the sense of community. The name “Trois Noix,” which means “Three Nuts,” is an homage to our founder’s love of France and her commitment to using wine as a catalyst for social change.

Mike Tracy, Director of Winemaking
Mike was raised on the Gallo Frei Ranch in Dry Creek Valley where his mother worked as an accountant, and he always knew he would make wine,. Mike graduated with a B.S. in Viticulture and Enology from Cornell University in 2012, and thirteen commercial vintages later, Mike’s career has been on a trajectory from Sonoma County and Napa Valley, to New Zealand and Argentina, before settling back at home, in Napa Valley.

Laura Simons, Direct Sales & Wine Club Maven
Laura Simons brings over 27 years of experience in the wine and hospitality industry to the DTC realm. She became a Certified Sommelier in Denver through the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2006, which inspired her to move to the Napa Valley to find her place in the wine world.
